Catskill Boutique Hotel & Spa (CBHS)
The Project will involve several components. The primary component will be the development of a new hotel to be called the Greens Hotel and Conference Center (GHCC). The facility will be a four-story hotel and designed to be a “Play and Stay” facility for golfers and an event center for weddings, parties, and other similar events. The GHCC will serve as a tourist hub with plans to make connections with the County’s ski mountains and other local attractions and will operate as a year-round destination. The facility will be built as a boutique hotel with 56 luxury suites and will also include amenities such as a fitness center, business center, conference rooms, wellness spa, bar, breakfast room, and a bridal suite.
In addition to the hotel facility, the Project will involve upgrades to various features of the existing golf course. The current clubhouse will be completely upgraded to include relocation of the existing bar and dining room and construction of a new portico. The existing pro-shop will be razed and relocated to the clubhouse structure. The existing pool house, pool, and surrounding area will also be upgraded. New amenities such as pickle ball courts, hiking/nature trails throughout the existing golf course, cross country skiing trails, an ice skating rink, and a golf simulator in the clubhouse. The Project will also include upgrades to the golf course, acquisition of new maintenance equipment and golf carts, and construction of a new pole barn for the facilities maintenance department.
